Born in the 1970s, Cantopop came to embody the fabric of Hong Kong’s society. In the ‘80s and ‘90s, a number of famous stars emerged, who brought the genre to other parts of the Chinese-speaking world. Music arranged by Ng Cheuk-yin, a composer whose works transcend the boundaries between East, West and modern, this concert will take you on a journey through Cantopop’s most iconic songs, from classic oldies through to recent big hits.
