Online Registration Guidance Notes

  • Successful applicants will receive admission ticket with QR code(s) via the registered email on April 17. On the event day, they must present the admission ticket (electronic or printed) bearing with the QR code and a valid identity proof with registered name at the verification counters at the venue for verification before admission.

  • Please check all mailboxes, including inbox, junk and spam mail to avoid misdeliveries.

  • Each QR code is only valid for one registered participant and not transferrable.

  • The reserved place will be invalid 15 minutes after the programme begins (i.e. 2:45pm).

  • The organiser reserves the right to change the programme, substitute performers, implement admission and crowd control measures and have final decision on the seat arrangement that participants shall not dispute over the decision.

Featuring pop music and movie elements, Outdoor Music x Film Marathon is one of the highlighted programmes of the Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2023 that aims at showcasing the vitality of Hong Kong pop culture.

Prelude (2:00pm – 2:30pm)

Before the start of the "Outdoor Music x Film Marathon", a breakdance parade cum pop legends exhibition called "The Avenue of Pop Dreams" will be staged on the Avenue of Stars and walked through an exhibition of the four legends namely Bruce Lee, Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung and Danny Chan to spice up the “Outdoor Music x Film Marathon”. The exhibition will be hosted for two weeks till May 7.

Part 1: Outdoor Music Marathon (2:30pm - 6:30pm)

Singers and bands across different generations and styles will collaborate and perform pop songs created by local famous songwriters and composers for showcasing the vitality of Hong Kong pop culture.

Danny Summer, Elisa Chan, Anthony Lun, Phil Lam, Yoyo Sham, Wilson Ng, Cath Wong, Legacy Band, Patrick Lui Big Band

Part 2: Film Songs Singing Along (6:30pm – 8:00pm)

There will be a screening of edited footages of movie songs featuring Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui with local talented young singers leading audience to sing along.
