Discounts for seniors for first show and seniors' morning shows which below HK$30 will be maintained. Ticket price will be standardized at $30 for seniors, children and students (except private screenings and special programmes). All other exchange vouchers, movie coupons, membership discounts and bank discounts are not applicable on the that day.
Start from 12:00am on 17 April 2024, tickets will be sold at the box office of all theatres and their online ticketing websites. Each person can only purchase a maximum of 4 tickets at the box office of the theatre, online ticket purchases limit are subject to the ticket purchase restrictions of each theatre.

"Cinema Day 2024" is one of the activities of "Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2024". The first Cinema Day was held in 2023, it was well received by members of the public and the participation rate recorded a highest single-day record (nearly 222,000)! This year, Hong Kong Theatres Association will continue its efforts and organize the "Hong Kong Cinema Day" again, aiming to encourage all members of the public visit cinema at a surprise fare, and experience the unparalleled collective viewing experience of watching movies in the cinemas, as well as to promote cinema culture!
