Everyone enjoys listening to Cantopop songs, but does anyone ever wondered how a classic Cantopop song is created? The “101 Academy” of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s Edutainment Channel will present a three-part series, featuring singer-songwriter Manson Cheung, who will share the characteristics and evolution of Cantopop songs. He will also introduce the six main roles in producing Cantopop songs, including composer, lyricist, arranger, producer, mixing engineer, and singer, to unveil the mysterious process of song production.
Manson Cheung selects five classic Cantopop songs, singing and sharing the characteristics and evolution throughout the generations.
Manson Cheung will share the roles of "Composer," "Lyricist," and "Arranger" in the production of a Cantopop song.
Manson Cheung will share about how producers, mixing engineers, and singers collaborate seamlessly to create touching songs, as well as unveil the mysteries of a professional recording studio.
