Jin Yong (Dr. Louis Cha) is the most influential Chinese martial arts novel writer in the 20th century, with readers across the globe. The Hong Kong Public Libraries will organise a series of activities during March to October 2024, as a tribute to the master and martial arts.

“Exhibition on Dr. Louis CHA Collection” and "Multi-dimensional Reading of Jin Yong's Martial Arts Novels" Subject Talk are also activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
